Delhi, India

Majnu ka Tila, (MKT) also known as Delhi’s mini-Tibet, is nothing short of a secret repository, buried amongst the numerous undiscovered streets of Delhi. Prior to being a Tibetan settlement, Majnu ka Tila (the hillock of Majnu) was a mound of great significance – it served as the meeting ground for a local Iranian Sufi mystic, Abdulla, nicknamed Majnu and the Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak, during Sikhander Lodhi’s reign over the magnificent Delhi Sultanate.

The market is destination to several remarkable restaurants that serve everything from coffee and desserts to lip smacking Thukpas, Chilly Chicken and Honey Chilly Potatoes.
